Developing the next generation of administrative professionals is one of the goals of PAS.
We believe in the value of guiding them as they carve their career roadmap. In collaboration
with Polytechnic University of the Philippines – Junior Philippine Association of Secretaries
and Administrative Professionals (PUP-JPASAP) our members, Armie Marie Bausas and
Lynne Inciong conducted a webinar entitled “Aligning the Administrative Professionals’
Competencies to the Global Workplace” last June 16, 2021.

The speakers tackled various aspects of the professional administration such as the essence
of being an administrative professional, the vital roles and competencies required for this
profession, the strategic alliance with the Executive, the career journey, and the unique
challenges and opportunities. They also shared their words of wisdom and experiences
during the question and answer segment. The future might seem bleak for these young
professionals due to the pandemic. We hope that through this partnership they will find
inspiration and motivation to turn challenges into opportunities by broadening their knowledge, elevating their competencies and establishing their networks.
